1. History and Activities

'P-NAN' means 'Refuge' in Korean .  'The Refuge PNAN' is a small NGO which is consisted of South Korean Volunteer Activists who want to be the refuge for weary and burdened  refugees , migrant workers, persecuted persons.  We started these kinds of work in early 1990s when migrant workers flocked into South Korea. We established 'The Refuge for Migrant Workers' and offered a Shelter for wretched foreign workers in Korea.

During our activities we visited several East and South Asian countries including China to search for the industrial accident victims and other kinds of sufferers who were compulsorily deported without compensation and due treatments. We compiled and handled many cases by applying to Korean government for compensation.   Working as the refuge for migrant workers, we are studying and groping to go far toward solving world refugees problems including North Korean Refugees.
